Samantha Moore was called to the Jamaican Bar in December 2012. Since being admitted to practice, she worked for eight (8) years at one of the largest law firms in the Caribbean. There she handled a variety of commercial and real estate transactions on behalf of both local and international clients.

Samantha joined the partnership at Ramsay & Partners (formerly RamsaySmith) in December 2020. Her core practice areas include Data Protection and Privacy Rights, Cybersecurity, Electronic Transactions, Banking and Financial Regulatory Advice, Securities, Real Estate and Conveyancing, Mergers & Acquisitions, Intellectual Property, Public Procurement, Work Permit and Immigration Law, Product Registration and Consumer Protection, Charities Law, Distributorship Agreements and Anti-Competition and Anti-Trust Law.

Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Relations with Upper Second Class Honours and a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours, both from the University of the West Indies. In 2010, Samantha began her studies at the Norman Manley Law School where she earned a place on the Principal's Honour Roll as well as a Legal Education Certificate of Merit. Samantha also received multiple prizes for her outstanding academic achievements at the Noman Manley Law School which include the Raphael Codlin Prize to the Most Outstanding Student over Two Years, The Ziplaw Technologies Ltd. Prize to the Most Outstanding Student over Two Years as well as The Chairman’s Prize for best performance in Law of Evidence and Forensic Medicine, Remedies, Civil Procedure and Practice 1 and 2.

Samantha is a member of the Commercial Law and the Telecommunications, Broadcasting & Technology Sub-Committees of the Jamaican Bar Association. She enjoys travelling in her spare time.
